Welcome

In 2001: The International Committee of the Red Cross revealed a very disturbing fact. It revealed that in the wars fought since the mid-twentieth century: For every ONE soldier killed - TEN civilians are killed.

Other sources reveal that the majority of our fellow civilians being killed are actually women and children. This madness is totally unacceptable. But what can I do about it?

Well: I can start by telling you and as many other good people as I can about it. Which is to say: The only thing I can do is attempt to raise public awareness of the ongoing slaughter of innocent men, women, children, toddlers and babies under the justification of war.

To enable me to do this, I launched this website on October 10th 2013. This day was chosen because it was World Mental Health Day - which (given the total insanity of what is happening) was definitely the most appropriate date.

This website is intended to provide a "portal" to other on-line resources linked to raising awareness of the ongoing slaughter of the innocents... Which throughout the history of our species, has been, and continues to be worldwide.

Given the ratio of TEN CIVILIANS KILLED FOR EVERY ONE SOLDIER. This awareness raising initiative has been named
ten2one

A personal message
Any assistance that you could provide to assist ten2one to raise public awareness of this horror would be appreciated beyond gratitude.

Thank you

John

The "ten2one" poppy

"ten2one" has it's own commemorative poppy.

Unlike the blood-red "poppy" that is used to commemorate the soldiers, sailors and airmen who fought and died in World War One. Which has subsequently been used to commemorate all UK military war-dead since the Great War. Or the purple poppy that is a tribute to all the military's animals killed by "enemy" action.

The ten2one poppy commemorates ALL the men, women, girls, boys, toddlers and babies who Never fought in any war - yet were ALL murdered in war.

The ten2one poppy is a white poppy which bears three tears of blood. One tear for ALL the civilians killed in the wars of the past. One tear for ALL the civilians who are being killed in the wars of the present: And one tear for ALL the civilians who will be killed in the wars of the future.

"ALL civilian war dead": Regardless of nationality, tribe, creed or any other consideration. Every man, woman, girl, boy, toddler and baby ever murdered in/by war.

Please. Please. Please feel free to use the image of the "three tears of blood poppy" to commemorate ALL the innocent men, women and children killed by military & paramilitary actions.

Censorship

The photograph below shows a "ten2one" wreath on the "Peace Memorial" on Derby Market Place. This wreath was dedicated to commemorate EVERY man, woman, child and baby EVER murdered by war. Following a short vigil I removed the wreath.

Shamefully: Following the formal laying of wreaths on this year's (2013) Remembrance Day ceremony. The ten2one "civilian wreath" (so named because it commemorates EVERY civilian EVER killed in war) was "removed" from the memorial by a City Council staff member. None of the blood red "militarist wreaths" were removed !

Such censorship does not alter the fact that throughout history: Countless millions of non-combatant men, women, children and babies) have been slaughtered in war; and are still being slaughtered in war. It only conceals the fact. Which is a shameful act.

"Civilian wreaths" apparently being unwelcome on "military memorials" we have created our own ten2one on-line Memorial. Please visit this site by clicking onto the following link. Thank you

Sadly the Memorial site has been destroyed by a vicious cyber attack. I am so sorry.

STOP PRESS NEWS: I've managed to patch together a replacement ten2one online Memorial, which you are invited to brouse. Please click here.

The Good News: I managed to create another ten2one civilian-wreath to replace the one seized by Derby City Council. However, to prevent this one also being "censored by confiscation" I've had to adopt a very different approach than normal. Please click onto the following link to discover more

Whilst holding a candlelit vigil it occurred to me to ask if it would be possible
to organise an on-line vigil ? What do you think ?

 The seized ten2one "civilian wreath"

Please note the wreath just below the feet of the statue on the picture to the left.

You will note that it bears TEN ten2one white poppies and ONE red British Legion poppy. This symbolises the fact that for every ONE soldier killed (the blood red poppy) TEN civilians (the ten2one white poppies) are killed.

As previously mentioned each of the ten2one white poppies bears three tears of blood. The first commemorates ALL the men, women, girls, boys, toddlers and babies slaughtered in the wars of the PAST.

The second commemorates ALL the men, women, girls, boys, toddlers and babies being slaughtered in the wars of the PRESENT.

The third commemorates ALL the men, women, girls, boys, toddlers and babies who will be slaughtered in the wars of the FUTURE.

In the centre of that wreath is the following dedication. Which (I hope) says it all...

ALL CIVILIAN
  WAR  DEAD

The ten2one wreaths are intended to commemorate EVERY grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, son, daughter, grandson and granddaughter EVER murdered in war. Or other such tribal or ethnic conflict.

Regardless of their nationality, tribe, creed, or any other consideration. They were ALL our brothers and sisters and they were ALL murdered by WAR.

A dream
Wouldn't it be marvelous if others started producing their own ten2one style wreaths and/or other tributes. And: Those tributes started appearing upon "war" memorials around the world. Each tribute commemorating EVERY civilian ever slaughtered by WAR. Especially the women, children, babies and families.

A personal invitation
Please feel free to make your own ten2one style commemoration and place it on your nearest memorial. It doesn't have to be wreath. Flowers, or any other tribute will do. Anything which is dedicated to ALL of the men, women, girls, boys, toddlers and babies EVER killed in war.

Anything which communicates the message that (in the wars since the mid-twentieth century) for every ONE soldier being killed - TEN of us civilians are being killed.

Whilst we mourn those members of the military who sacrificed their lives. Our fellow civilians didn't sacrifice themselves... they were murdered. It is not appropriate that they are simply airbrushed out of history.

It is right that we should remember them.

Please remember ALL civilians killed in war. ALL of them. Regardless of race, tribe or creed. We ARE ALL brothers and sisters, and it is right that we mourn our lost family members.

Produced in Derby... England.

The ten2one initiative salutes and supports everyone around the World who is working for peace.

Your struggle provides Humanity with hope.
Peace will provide humanity with a future.
