Throughout the history of Humanity, communal funeral pyres (following the slaughters of men, women, children and babies) have been all too common...

If only they were a thing of the past. But they aren't. They are also a thing of the present - and alarmingly will also continue to be a thing in the future.

The following facts should NOT be overlooked.

ALL Human life emerged in Africa and ONLY Africa. (This includes the Neanderthals and the Cro Magnon).
Given that ALL Human life stems from AFRICA then the ancestral homeland for the whole of the human family (Humanity) is AFRICA.
Given that our ancestors ALL originated from the same source - proves that we are ALL members of the SAME global family.

Genocides are inflicted on the basis of the belief that Humanity consists of tribes. With each and every tribe (call it a state, nation, creed etc.) being a threat to another state, nation, creed etc.

This is a false perception. For all of our faults and short-comings, we ARE one family.

To our undying shame

We are ALL members of the same global family, and the name of this family is HUMANITY. In this family we are ALL brothers and sisters. Whether we be princes or paupers in the family that is HUMANITY - we are ALL brothers and sisters and we are ALL equal.

Tragically HUMANITY is not educated to view itself as a global family. Instead, Humanity is 'educated' and conditioned to believe and think of itself as tribal.

This tribal mentality teaches us that each tribe (state or nation) is competing against all the other tribes. This being so, the "other" tribes should be regarded as being a danger or a potential danger.

Consequently, the 'tribalised' history of our species is one of ethnic conflict. Conflict which all too often sees one 'tribe' exterminating another... and so it has been since the dawn of time.

So far: The history of Humanity has been one long bloody slaughter interspersed with periods of apparent peace. Not only the slaughter of the other species that co-exist with us on this planet - which we use as food. But, to our undying shame our own species. Our own brothers and sisters, their children and their grandchildren. Our fellow family-members.

We tend to perceive holocausts as being so called ethnic cleansings. This is a misperception. The NAZI holocaust not only exterminated our brothers and sisters on the basis of their "tribe". But they also exterminated Communists and Socialists on the basis of their "creed": And the physically and mentally disabled.... on the basis of their disabilities. Yet when we think of the NAZI holocaust we tend ONLY to remember our Jewish and Gypsy brothers and sisters.

To ALL of those slaughtered because of their physical and mental disabilities. You should not be forgotten.

The Silent Holocaust

Unlike the deliberate mass murder of 'traditional' holocausts. When psychotics (military, para-military, terrorists or mobs) from one "tribe" attempt to slaughter every man, woman, girl, boy, toddler and baby identified as "belonging" to another tribe. There is another type of holocaust... The Silent Holocaust.

As the name suggests: The silent holocaust is so named because it is not truly acknowledged by our tribal leaders. Nor is it often mentioned by our tribal media. Because it relates to another "tribe" - it seems that the silent holocaust simply does not merit our tribal media's interest.

Because of this silence, the actual scale of what has been going on is invisible to us. This being so, the ongoing tragedy is not recognised for what it truly is: And what it "truly" is; is holocaust by indifference.

Because the true situation is never fully explained to us we are largely unaware of the scale of it. However, most of us are vaguely aware that large numbers of babies and children are starving to death in the third world. A situation which has been ongoing since time immemorial us,

Having mentioned our general ignorance. It is worthy of note that some years ago, an Irish singer named Bob Geldoff decided to do something about it - and he did. As did a large number of musicians from both sides of the Atlantic - and beyond.

Sadly the situation still continues to this day. Huge numbers of babies and children are still starving to death, and the overwhelming majority of us simply don't care.

Were it not for religious and secular groups and charities from around the World who remind us with occasional insights. This silent holocaust would go totally unnoticed.

The true tragedy is that this particular holocaust could be avoided. It really doesn't have to happen... But resolving the matter would involve us evolving out of our conditioned tribalism and acting as one global family. Unfortunately, there are too many vested interests in tribalism for that too ever happen.

So the holocaust of the babies and children of the World's poorest will continue ... to our undying shame.

Perspective

In the World War 2 siege of Leningrad: 1,500,000 of those in that city died - most having starved to death. The overwhelming majority of those deaths were civilians, and most of those were reportedly women and children.

That siege was a war-crime on an industrial scale. Over the years, decades, centuries and millennia how many millions upon millions of Humanity's children have starved to death? Whilst other members of our same global family are dying of obesity.

Even as you read these words, a percentage of Humanity's children are starving to death in a silent holocaust.

What is truly chilling is that the cause of this holocaust is not tribal fear or hatred. It is simply the cold indifference of Humanity to other members of Humanity.

To all of those who will die of starvation today: Forgive our indifference please. It is not our fault. We are educated to be greedy and selfish by our tribal leaders.
